Rob Gidel’s clients benefit not only from his legal knowledge and experience, but also the interest he has in their business. Rob is more than his clients’ lawyer: he is their biggest supporter. When the case is over and the legal dispute has been solved, he continues to look out for his clients and tries to find new ways for them to grow their business and make new connections. In the people and relationship-driven industry of commercial real estate, clients feel confident coming to Rob when they need help making a deal.
Rob represents national and regional real estate developers, private and public real estate investment trusts (REITs), private equity firms and franchisees, as well as high net-worth individuals and/or their affiliated family offices. His background in private equity – having managed more than 30 investments in private and publicly traded real estate and finance focused operating companies – provides clients a unique perspective on business risk, growth and planning.
Outside of the office, Rob serves on the Advisory Board for the Society of Real Estate Professionals, an organization he helped co-found in 2017, and the Tampa Bay Regional Board of Advisors for the James Madison Institute.
