MOBILE, Ala. – Thomas Woodford joins the Phelps Labor and Employment team. Based in the Mobile, Alabama office, Tom brings over 30 years of litigation and counseling experience and expands the knowledge base and depth of the firm’s regional Labor and Employment practice group.
“We consider this a strategic move to better serve our clients in response to the Mobile marketplace—specifically our manufacturing, construction and professional services clients. Tom’s reputation and experience also complement the firm’s regional employment engagements for both compliance and dispute resolution,” said Mobile managing partner Teeto Graham.
According to Tom, “The move to Phelps was an easy choice. The firm’s breadth of practices and footprint across 11 offices will enable me to better serve my industry clients by offering them not only increased geographical coverage but also a much broader range of experienced and seasoned specialists in legal disciplines outside my specific area of expertise.”
Tom joins Day Peake and Jay Minus in the Mobile labor and employment practice which is supported by over 40 labor and employment attorneys throughout Phelps’ 11 offices.
“Tom’s deep experience in both employment litigation and counseling, as well as with the National Labor Relations Act and the Railway Labor Act, add depth and breadth to our regional practice group, and further enhances our ability to serve institutional clients throughout our region as well as nationally,” states regional labor and employment practice group leader Reed Russell.
