38th Annual ABA Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section (RPTE) CLE Conference
Phelps Baton Rouge partners Randy Roussel and Paxson Guest will speak on a panel entitled “Promises, Perceptions & Power: Legal Challenges in Common Interest Communities” at the ABA’s 38thAnnual RPTE CLE Conference in Chicago on April 30, 2025 from 8:30-9:45 a.m. Joining them will be Sally Richardson from Tulane University School of Law.
The session will cover controversial issues that affect common interest communities. It will explore selective enforcement concerns, declarant control issues, discrepancies between sales materials/rendering and actual development, regime termination, mandatory reserve requirements, best practices and legislative trends.
