Erik Piazza Honored with Baton Rouge Growth Coalition Distinguished Service Award

BATON ROUGE – Nov. 14, 2023 – Baton Rouge Partner Erik Piazza was presented with the Distinguished Service Award by the Baton Rouge Growth Coalition for his service as president of the organization’s Growth Coalition board.

The Baton Rouge Growth Coalition is a nonprofit organization that ensures a level playing field between the real estate development industry and the citizens of Baton Rouge. Every two years, the Growth Coalition recognizes professionals who are “raising the bar” of development in the Capital region. Erik was recognized for his steadfast commitment to promoting vibrant and sustainable growth in Baton Rouge.

Erik is a member of Phelps’ business group and concentrates his practice on real estate. He represents a variety of developers in commercial transactions, including commercial and residential developments, commercial leases, banking and financing, planning and zoning, and condominium regimes. Erik currently serves as a member of the firm’s Operations committee.

Erik was honored at an awards ceremony at the Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel on Oct. 26.
