Gregory Burts will serve as a panelist at Loyola University's Loyola Maritime Law Journal Symposium.

Maritime collisions often lead to substantial damage to vessels, cargo, or fixed structures and continue to prompt costly litigation throughout southern Louisiana. This complex field of law involves a variety of legal concepts and procedures, some of which are under attack from critics and legal scholars. The panel will discuss an overview of steps in litigation involving maritime collisions as well as some unique legal features associated with maritime collisions.
