Phelps Baton Rouge Office Awarded for “Going the Extra Mile” by United Way

BATON ROUGE, La. — July 22, 2022 — Capital Area United Way honored Phelps’ Baton Rouge office with the Going the Extra Mile Award at the nonprofit’s 2022 Annual Meeting on July 21.

The office was recognized for increasing their campaign by 10% over the past year. Phelps’ Baton Rouge attorneys and staff came together to set a record-breaking year for donations, upping contributions to the United Way’s programs to $10,144.76. Those in the Baton Rouge office that led the charge were also awarded for attending Employee Campaign Coordinator Training in 2021, where they learned best practices and demonstrated their commitment to make last year’s campaign a success.
