Phelps Baton Rouge Office Celebrates 10 Years on "Best Places to Work" List

BATON ROUGE, La. — October 4, 2023 — The Greater Baton Rouge Business Report named Phelps’ Baton Rouge office one of the “Best Places to Work” for the 10th year in a row. Phelps is one of only four companies that have earned a spot on the Capital Region’s list since the recognition was first awarded in 2014. The report ranks companies who go above and beyond to promote employee benefits, engagement and satisfaction.

Phelps earned one of the top spots on the list, which features 75 of the city’s best businesses. The organizations featured on the annual list consistently go above and beyond to prioritize their employees. The Baton Rouge office ranked ninth among companies with 250 or more employees.

"Best Places to Work” aims to identify and honor companies the add to the Baton Rouge economy, workforce and businesses. Each year, nominees complete an extensive questionnaire on their benefits and policies. Then, employees complete surveys about their engagement and satisfaction with the company. The companies are evaluated and ranked based on nine focus areas including: core experience; job; communication and workplace; culture; relationship with manager; training, technology and professional development; diversity and inclusion; leadership; employee benefits; and work-life balance.
