Phelps New Orleans Office Celebrates 15 Years on CityBusiness “Best Places to Work” List

NEW ORLEANS — Dec. 15, 2023 — New Orleans CityBusiness named Phelps one of the 2023 Best Places to Work. The list celebrates companies chosen by employees for their benefits, opportunities for advancement and workplace culture. This is the 15th year Phelps has been recognized.

Phelps was honored among the guide’s top 12 companies with more than 250 employees, in part due to the firm’s commitment to building a positive work environment that encourages employee retention. “What makes Phelps a great place to work is the respect for one another and genuine appreciation,” said Lori Hook, a member of Phelps’ administration team. “This makes coming to work an absolute pleasure.”

Legal Assistant Cathy Trosclair shared how Phelps makes its employees feel at home. “I have only here been here since March, and the firm has made me feel like I’m part of their family, not just a firm.”

"Best Places to Work” recognizes companies that keep employee satisfaction and engagement a priority year after year. Businesses submit extensive information on their workforce data to be considered. Then, employees complete surveys to measure workplace culture, which helps to determine the top companies and final rankings.
