Phelps Partner Anthony J. Gambino. Jr. Named to Baton Rouge Business Report’s 40 Under 40

BATON ROUGE, La. — Nov. 4, 2026 — Phelps Partner Anthony J. Gambino, Jr. was honored as one of the Baton Rouge Business Report’s 40 Under 40 recipients this year. The publication selects professionals who show professional excellence and a strong commitment to their community.

Anthony litigates construction disputes on behalf of owners, design professionals, general contractors and subcontractors. He has amassed substantial experience with 15 trials and three arbitrations in 10 years of legal practice. He is a Diversity Fellow with the ABA Forum on Construction law, where he organizes speakers and devises programming for events.

The publication has recognized Anthony for his leadership at the Baton Rouge Bar Association, where he chairs the Construction Law Section and the Capital Area Finance Authority, where he and fellow trustees award funding to residents for first-time homebuying, economic development projects and youth programs. Anthony has also coached the Baton Rouge Magnet High School mock trial team, which achieved a second-place finish during one of his years at the helm. 

The Baton Rouge Business Report will celebrate the honorees at an event on Nov. 11.
