Steve Levine Appointed to ACOEL Board of Regents

BATON ROUGE, La. – Oct. 11, 2023 – Phelps Partner Steve Levine was selected to the American College of Environmental Lawyers (ACOEL) Board of Regents for a three-year term.

ACOEL is a professional association of distinguished lawyers who practice in the field of environmental law. Members are dedicated to maintaining and improving the ethical practice, administration of justice and the development of environmental law through federal, state, municipal, tribal and international forums.

Steve is a member of Phelps’ Baton Rouge litigation group and focuses his practice on environmental counseling. He serves clients in the petrochemical, transportation, banking, real estate and power generation sectors. Steve routinely works on behalf of clients with the Environmental Protection Agency and state regulatory agencies across the region in matters relating to litigation, permitting, compliance orders and penalty orders.
