Tampa Office Managing Partner Jason Pill Named to UF Law Center Association Board of Trustees
TAMPA, Fla. — Phelps announces that Jason Pill, managing partner of the firm’s Tampa office, has been elected to the University of Florida Law Center Association Board of Trustees. He will serve a five-year term from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2031.
The Board of Trustees serves as the primary financial support and advisory board for the University of Florida Levin College of Law and works closely with its dean and administration to advance strategic priorities. Jason will join fellow trustees in supporting initiatives that enhance faculty recruitment, expand student opportunities, and promote research and professional development.
“The University of Florida Levin College of Law plays an important role in preparing the next generation of lawyers,” Jason said. “I look forward to supporting the law school’s mission and helping strengthen connections among students, alumni, and the legal community.”
Jason maintains a strong connection to the school through his involvement with the Phelps Dunbar 1L Closing Argument Competition and his prior years of service on the Law Alumni Council.
At Phelps, he represents employers in labor and employment matters across the United States, advising businesses on workplace risk, policy development, and disputes. He also defends employers in complex litigation, including wage-and-hour class and collective actions, and works with clients to manage high-stakes employment challenges.
