Josh Lee primarily practices in the area of marine and energy litigation at both the trial and the appellate levels. He represents abroad client base including vessel owners, oilfield contractors, oil companies and their insurers on matters regarding personal injury and property damage. Josh has handled casualty and commercial matters ranging from auto collision claims to premises liability to multi-million dollar insurance coverage litigation.

- Obtained key ruling placing limits on extent of vessel owner’s duty to obtain emergency medical treatment for Jones Act seamen in Fifth Circuit.
- Secured judgement in favor of tug owner in the case of alleged personal injury caused by excessive speed and wave wash.
- Obtained dismissal of third-party defendant in offshore drilling rig collapse and sinking.
- Representation of tug and barge owner in catastrophic bridge allision.
- Successfully defended the owner of a vessel in complex property damage matter arising from allision of underwater sonar survey equipment with submerged drilling rig mooring line.
