Justin C. Warner Associate

With a focus on representing clients in the marine and energy industries, Justin Warner helps his clients navigate difficult issues as they arise, whether in litigation or otherwise. He represents both U.S. and foreign vessel owners as well as offshore energy companies in various matters, including disputes under the Jones Act, vessel collisions/allisions, injuries to ferry passengers, barge breakaways, property damages claims, loss of use, and oil platform fires and explosions. Justin has conducted numerous shipboard investigations aboard both inland and ocean-going vessels for collisions/allisions, personal injury, fires/explosions, and cargo damage.

During law school at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, Justin was managing editor for the Loyola Maritime Law Journal.

  • Assisted in the trial defense of a multi-million dollar claim involving a vessel collision/allision, property damage, and loss of use.
  • Successfully defended vessel owner(s) against claim brought by personal injury plaintiff under the general maritime law by receiving defense verdict at trial.
  • Advised ferry owners and their insurers against claims brought by both Jones Act seamen and passengers.
  • Represented pipeline owners/operators in numerous pipeline and platform damage incidents.
