    InsuranceLitigation

Allyson helps insurers and businesses assess risk and make informed decisions when conflicts increase exposure and raise complex coverage questions. She resolves litigation, coverage and liability issues by aligning litigation strategies with clients’ business goals.

Allyson brings a combination of insurance, commercial litigation and maritime experience, an asset for clients operating in a region where transportation, maritime operations and insurance issues often overlap. She guides clients through every stage of litigation involving:

    • Admiralty and maritime incidents
    • Commercial conflicts
    • Coverage disputes
    • Insurance defense
    • Injury claims

Drawing on courtroom experience and a trial-ready mindset, Allyson advises clients on insurance defense, insurance coverage and commercial litigation issues. She’s argued motions, handled evidentiary hearings and worked on appeals, giving clients a lawyer who is prepared to pursue the strategy that best serves their goals, whether that means resolving a dispute early or trying the case.

Allyson has also handled product liability and construction defect claims that involve complex liability issues and multiple layers of risk.

While serving as a Rule XX student practitioner at the Jefferson Parish District Attorney's Office, Allyson successfully prosecuted two criminal cases in the 24th Judicial District Court. Early in her career, she completed externships with the Honorable Jay C. Zainey and the Honorable Janis van Meerveld in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
