
Bennett Matson practices in the area of insurance.
While at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, he was named a Crowe Scholar and served on the Loyola Law Review as Casenote & Comment Editor.
Bennett’s legal experience includes a judicial externship and a legal internship in the general counsel office of the environmental nonprofit organization, Ducks Unlimited.
As a research assistant to Professor James Viator, Bennett focused on updates to the Louisiana Torts Hornbook. Additionally, Bennett was law school representative to the ABA Health Law Section Physician Issues Interest Group and contributed published articles on HIPPA security, non-compete agreements and health insurance.
