Deven Upadhyay

Deven works with companies, lenders and financial institutions involved in complex litigation. He helps clients navigate disputes stemming from business relationships, high-stakes transactions and lender liability.

Before joining Phelps, Deven served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable A. Todd Brown and the Honorable A. Graham Shirley of the North Carolina Business Court, where he worked on conflicts involving breach of contract claims, fiduciary duty issues and corporate governance matters.
