Jesse Stewart is a member of Phelps’ litigation practice group. He focuses his practice on commercial, data security, and intellectual property litigation, as well as criminal defense and regulatory matters.
He has experience handling extensive class- and mass-action matters, and has represented creditors and debtors in bankruptcy and receivership proceedings. Jesse handles cases from start to finish and has served as lead trial and appellate counsel in federal and state court. Through his pro bono and nonprofit activities, he works to expand legal representation and improve educational opportunities throughout the Louisiana community.

- Secured permanent injunction on behalf of a family-owned business in a federal copyright infringement case
- Obtained reversal of an order denying sentencing relief on behalf of a defendant in a federal wire fraud case
