Leigh Ackal practices in the area of insurance.
During her time at Tulane, Leigh served as Senior Managing Editor of the Tulane Law Review. She received the 2017 and 2018 Dean Rufus C. Harris Civil Law Award for her publications in Volumes 91 and 92 of the Review and the Class of 2000 Law Review Award. While in law school, she completed summer judicial externships with Judge Jay Zainey of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and Judge Madeleine Landrieu of the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal.
