Bill Mitchem uses his decades of experience in structuring and negotiating transactions to help lenders, developers and businesses reach their goals. Bill advises clients in buying, leasing and selling property. He also helps them obtain debt and equity to move deals forward. He understands the terms in the market and how to frame and document transactions to protect his clients’ interests.
Bill often closes deals involving residential and multi-family developments, medical office buildings and other residential and commercial sales. He helps clients manage their real estate portfolios through strategic acquisitions and divestitures. These deals can often involve the sale or acquisition of a business and Bill will advise clients on those matters as well.
In addition, Bill serves as a title agent for insurance companies such as Chicago Title Insurance Company, First American Title Company and Old Republic Title Insurance Company.

- Advised a developer in the recapitalization of $300 million medical office portfolio, which helped them grow and expand their business.
- Assisted a health care system in a large multi-parcel assemblage to develop a new hospital campus.
- Served as borrower’s counsel for a health care system in closing a $700 million bond financing to secure funds to develop a new hospital campus.
- Assisted warehouse developers with the disposition of an $80 million portfolio of properties to ensure the long-term stability of their business.
