2026 Loyola Law Review Symposium

Phelps Baton Rouge Counsel Michael Victorian will speak about Name, Image and Likeness in High School Athletics as part of the 2026 Loyola Law Review Symposium: The New Deal: Name, Image, and Likeness Compliance, Contracts and the Legal Battle for College Athletics.

Michael’s presentation takes place from 9:35-10:20 a.m. on March 27, 2026 at Loyola University. He will give a firsthand account of representing high school student athletes, who are navigating the NIL landscape. Michael will address the legal and practical challenges unique to minors, including contract negotiation, compliance, and eligibility concerns. He will also highlight common pitfalls and best practices.
