Karl Brandes Honored Among Franchise Times’ Legal Eagles

TAMPA, Fla. — April 19, 2023 — Franchise Times awarded Phelps Tampa Partner Karl Brandes a spot among its Legal Eagles for 2023. Karl has consistently been recognized by the publication since 2018.

Only a handful of lawyers are ranked on the list that recognizes lawyers based on their franchising practice and understanding of the nuances of the unique business model against a backdrop of industry changes, economic uncertainty and heightened interest in franchising.

Karl focuses his practice on civil trial and commercial litigation and has assisted franchisors and franchisees as a trial lawyer and mediator for over thirty years. Karl currently serves as Phelps’ Florida Pro Bono partner.
