    Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America Honors Pair at Phelps

    NEW ORLEANS – September 15, 2025 – Two lawyers based in Phelps’ New Orleans office were recognized in the annual Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America list. They are:

    • Kim Boyle – Commercial Litigation, Employment, Class Action and Appellate
    • Miles Clements –  Complex Litigation and Appellate

    Kim practices primarily in the areas of labor and employment and general litigation. Her employment practice includes representing employers in employment related claims, such as wage actions, retaliation and discrimination claims, as well as workplace harassment. She also handles EEOC charges and other administrative complaints through the administrative and judicial process. Her practice also includes the representation of public and private clients in constitutional law matters, Title IX claims, as well as a variety of commercial disputes, including breach of contract, business torts, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair trade practices and class actions. Kim speaks often on employment-related topics, litigation and issues of procedure, as well as ethics and professionalism issues.

    Miles is a veteran trial lawyer recognized for trying 100 cases to judgment. He practices at both the trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts, as well as specialized jurisdictions nationwide. He represents clients in the marine and energy sectors and  defends the business and commercial needs of privately held and publicly traded companies. Miles is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.

    The list features a “who’s who” of top trial lawyers and honors lawyers for their professional excellence in commercial litigation, product liability, mass torts, securities and other fiduciary litigation, white collar and investigations, administrative proceedings, class actions, antitrust, energy and technology disputes, intellectual property, trademark and patent disputes.
