WENSLA Presents Summer Soiree 2025

Phelps Associate Nena Eddy, moderated the panel entitled, "Reflection, Recovery, and Resilience 20 years after Hurricane Katrina” presented at The Women's Energy Network Summer Soiree 2025 held at The Lula Restaurant Distillery in New Orleans, Louisiana. Eddy serves as president of WENSLA.

The panel consisted of Marcus Brown, the Executive VP & General Counsel at Entergy, Gregory Grandy, Administrator at Coastal Protection & Restoration Authority, and Sherae Hunter, Director of Community Outreach and Special Projects in the Office of City Councilmember Helena Moreno.

This event funded the network's annual scholarships, dedicated to those college students interested in pursuing a career in the energy field.
