Jim Henry helps health care providers comply with the law and achieve their business goals. As a health care lawyer he can address his clients’ needs across a variety of provider types using innovative approaches. His practice encompasses operational counseling, regulatory advice and protecting the rights of health care providers before various regulatory agencies and in state and federal courts.

Jim believes that a key element of serving health care clients is being accessible, because operational and regulatory issues often arise outside of normal business hours and successful resolution may be dependent on an immediate response. He also believes that he can best serve clients by gaining a full understanding of their business objectives and always keeping those objectives at the forefront when providing advice. Jim’s advice to clients is informed both by his in-depth experience in representing health care providers and a strong understanding of operational and financial management that comes from his past experience as a business executive for a national telecommunications company.

In addition to providing daily advice and counsel to health care providers, Jim handles litigation in the state and federal courts in cases involving allegations of health care fraud and malpractice. He has also prosecuted numerous appeals of federal and state agency determinations.

His practice serves a broad spectrum of health care providers including:

    • Hospitals
    • Post-acute care providers
    • Physicians and physician practice groups
    • Long term care facilities
    • Pharmacies
    • Mental health providers
