Amber Kile helps insurers resolve complex insurance and reinsurance coverage issues and litigation. She advises domestic and London-market insurers on first-party property and third-party liability insurance coverage, litigation and pre-litigation disputes.

An exclusive focus on defending insurers in state and federal courts in Florida gives Amber an in-depth understanding of the unique issues clients face in this market. She balances this insight with claims and settlement negotiations to assess insurers’ exposure and provide informed solutions.

Amber guides insurers through a variety of coverage issues, including, but not limited to, those arising out of claims involving:

    • Bad faith allegations
    • Business and financial losses
    • Construction defects
    • Excess and umbrella exposure
    • Natural disasters and property damage
    • Personal and advertising injuries

Amber also counsels liability insurers on their duty to defend and indemnify.

While at Wake Forest, Amber was an Executive Articles Editor for the Wake Forest Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law.
