Kempton is a member of the Phelps litigation team. Prior to joining Phelps, she served as a judicial law clerk for Associate Justice Tamara Barringer of the Supreme Court of North Carolina. Clients turn to Kempton for her strong writing and negotiation skills.
Prior to her legal career, Kempton served her community as a firefighter with the City of Raleigh Fire Department.
