Nick Morisani’s practice includes a unique blend of labor and employment and civil rights litigation involving jail and prison operations. In his labor and employment practice, he advises private and public employers and defends them against discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment and other employment claims.
Nick’s civil rights practice focuses on representing state prison management and local detention facility operators. Nick helps clients navigate investigations by the Department of Justice and federally funded protection and advocacy groups. He also defends clients against single-plaintiff and class-action claims challenging conditions of confinement and security operations and helps them seek termination of burdensome consent decrees.
