    Patrick Judd helps companies resolve disputes and guard against risks involving operations, licensing and leadership. Clients benefit from his deep understanding of case law and court proceedings, gained from federal clerkship experience, to navigate each stage of litigation, including complex appeals.

    With a focus on preserving judgments on appeal, Patrick keeps clients’ long-term goals in mind to build litigation strategies that address:

    • Contract disputes
    • Business torts
    • Defamation claims
    • Insurance disputes

    While in law school, he served as managing editor of the Emory Law Journal. Before joining Phelps, Patrick clerked for Chief Judge Emily C. Marks in the U.S. Middle District of Alabama and for Judge S. Kyle Duncan on the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He also externed for Georgia Supreme Court Justice Nels S. D. Peterson and Georgia Court of Appeals Judge Stephen Dillard, and served as a research and teaching assistant for Professor John Witte Jr.
