    Patrick Judd helps businesses across the country resolve complex disputes and navigate regulatory compliance and contract matters. Drawing on federal clerkship experience and a deep understanding of case law, Patrick guides clients through every stage of litigation—from trial strategy to complex appeals in both federal and state courts.

    Patrick’s practice spans a wide range of high-stakes issues, including:

    • Admiralty and maritime law
    • Consumer credit and Fair Credit Reporting Act compliance
    • Contract disputes and commercial litigation
    • Copyright disputes
    • First Amendment, media and entertainment matters
    • Product liability defense
    • Professional brokerage liability
    • Sports law

    Patrick has briefed appeals before state and federal courts and helped companies protect multimillion-dollar judgments. Before joining Phelps, he completed clerkships with Chief Judge Emily C. Marks of the U.S. Middle District of Alabama and Judge S. Kyle Duncan of the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as externships with the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. He served as managing editor of the Emory Law Journal.
