Patrick has briefed appeals before state and federal courts and helped companies protect multimillion-dollar judgments. Before joining Phelps, he completed clerkships with Chief Judge Emily C. Marks of the U.S. Middle District of Alabama and Judge S. Kyle Duncan of the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as externships with the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. He served as managing editor of the Emory Law Journal.
