Patrick Meacham manages a diverse litigation practice that supports clients in areas such as professional negligence, products and premises liability, catastrophic personal injury and mass torts. Hospitals and health care providers turn to Pat’s trial experience when they face professional malpractice and negligence suits and administrative actions before state regulators. Drawing from his knowledge of North Carolina’s health care industry, Pat helps hospitals manage costly risks, maintain their credentials, strengthen their policies and procedures and train their workforce.

Pat provides a steady hand to clients seeking assistance after catastrophic injury events such as plant explosions, industrial accidents, building collapses, fires, natural gas and electrical incidents. Clients appreciate Pat’s deft handling of witness, expert and party depositions, his management of pre-trial discovery and preparation as he brings these complex cases to trial.

Pat represents clients in state and federal courts in many industries including:

      • Health care
      • Manufacturing
      • Utilities
      • Food and beverage
      • Construction
      • Consumer products

He has tried dozens of cases to verdict involving alleged professional negligence, accidents at manufacturing sites and premises liability suits.

A mainstay of the Raleigh legal community, Pat served as an adjunct professor and trial team coach at Campbell Law School for more than a decade. He is a devoted fan of Chicago sports teams and the Kansas Jayhawks.
