Ross Dockins helps insurers and their insureds defend construction and injury claims in Alabama and Florida. With experience spanning both first- and third-party claims, he works with general contractors, builders and property owners to resolve construction defect and premises liability disputes stemming from residential projects along the Gulf Coast.
Ross regularly handles matters on both sides of the state line, particularly in the Florida Panhandle. He guides clients through each step of litigation, from early investigation and motion hearings through depositions and mediations. When a client’s best option is to defend a claim at trial, Ross brings strong defenses and composure to give clients confidence through courtroom proceedings.
Ross served in multiple editorial roles as a member of the Mississippi Law Journal while in law school.
