    Turnkey and Fast Claims Management

An insurer’s products are designed to help companies prevent, mitigate, manage and recover from the myriad of cyber risks that businesses face. For many of your insureds, the entire area of cyber breach is often misunderstood or even new to them. Our claims group is equipped to manage the day-to-day intake coming from insureds.

We have a streamlined approach for claims to achieve the best possible outcomes for insurers and their customers. A key element is that we are on the phone with the insureds immediately after receiving their phone call or email as notice of claim. Our coverage lawyers work closely with our claims managers to evaluate the issue presented and assign the right people to the matter.

    Immersed in Cyber

We recognize cyber insurance and cyber law are changing daily. We’ve been immersed in the field since inception and are deeply involved in the various trade groups that are instrumental in shaping this evolving field. We are experienced in the following matters:

    • Security and privacy liability
    • Multimedia liability
    • Technology services liability
    • PCI liability
    • Regulatory liability
    • Cyber extortion
    • Cyber terrorism
    • Data asset loss

We recognize that you provide customized products—so it’s imperative that we be fully versed in all areas, including the range of breach responses, liability and damages, the typical path of regulatory investigations, and how insureds may be exposed to civil fines and penalties.

    Deep Roots in Insurance Coverage

Although the area of cyber insurance is relatively new, we are not new to insurance coverage. We have decades of experience as a leading insurance coverage law firm in the areas of professional liability, general liability, property, and marine and energy. Our in-house claims group is primarily focused on London-based products and is registered and approved by Lloyd’s and currently handles programs for various lead underwriters.
