Taylor counsels employers and litigates claims on matters arising under federal, state and local employment laws. He handles the full range of employment law issues, from day-to-day queries to matters involving:

Experience

  • Helped one of Louisiana's largest school districts and a restaurant chain franchisee avoid trial by obtaining summary judgements in employment discrimination lawsuits, including cases involving claims of race discrimination, disability discrimination and retaliation.
  • Obtained injuctive relief to stop the misuse of proprietary information in case against former employee of medical transportation client and the client's competitor.
  • Successfully enforced non-competition agreement, including attorneys' fees provision, for client in the industrial valve industry.
  • Successfully argued to exclude experts and moved client's case to trial in employment-related litigation in federal court.
  • Represented multiple clients in issues implicating Louisiana's wage payment statutes.
  • Represented multiple clients in administrative proceedings with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
