Trevor Haynes practices in the area of business and finance, with a focus on real estate, banking, and commercial transactions. His experience includes public finance transactions, public private partnerships, and economic development incentives.
Trevor's practice also includes representing banking and lending institutions and borrowers in financing transactions; drafting and negotiating contracts, purchase agreements, leases, and servitude agreements; representing buyers and sellers in the acquisition, sale, and development of real estate; representing owners and developers of multifamily apartment complexes and hotels; and general counseling of both established and emerging businesses.
Experience
- Representation of developers in public finance and public private partnership transactions, including the transformative development of over 28 acres on the LSU campus known as the Nicholson Gateway Project.
- Representation of multiple developers in the acquisition, development and financing of large tracts of land for retail, hotels, commercial, residential, and multifamily and mixed-use developments.
- General representation of contractors in the acquisition of commercial office buildings, including construction and permanent finance.
- Drafting of complex covenants, conditions, and restrictions for residential subdivision developments.
- Providing legal representation in the formation of limited liability companies, corporations, and other entities.
