Phelps Represents JIT-EX in Sale to Alabama Motor Express

Phelps represented JIT-EX, LLC, a Memphis, Tennessee-based asset-based trucking provider, including operations in Nashville, Tennessee, in its sale to Alabama Motor Express (AMX), an Ashford, Alabama-based trucking, logistics and drayage company. The transaction positions JIT-EX for continued growth while expanding AMX's transportation and logistics platform across the Southeast and Mid-South.

The Phelps deal team was led by business lawyers John Bobango, Marye Helen Owen and Scott Evans, and included business lawyers Rachel Ducker and Christie Montgomery, as well as collaboration on due diligence issues with Brandon Davis and Michael Williams.
