When clients have questions concerning an insurance policy's scope of coverage, Caroline Crosby presents practical advice and effective solutions. She guides clients through the complex, evolving issues with insurance coverage so they can protect their bottom lines ... so they can resolve issues in the most efficient manner ... so they can protect their lines of business.

Caroline represents domestic and London market insurers in complex coverage matters involving policies covering:

      • Professional liability
      • Cyber liability
      • Excess liability
      • Commercial general liability

Caroline holds the IAPP’s Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) designation. She uses her deep knowledge of privacy law to advise insurer clients on privacy-related exposures at all stages of a breach or dispute.

She counsels insurers regarding claims involving a wide variety of industries and professionals, including lawyers' professional liability policies, architect, engineer and design professional insurance policies, media and technology insurance policies, and e-cigarette liability policies. She also prepares coverage opinions, represents clients in coverage disputes, and manages the defense of lawsuits against insureds.

In 2018, Caroline spent five months seconded to a leading Lloyd's syndicate, where she acted as in-house counsel, advising on professional liability, general liability, cyber and marine matters. This experience gave her valuable insight into what clients need and expect from the outside counsel.
