Nicholas J. Heintzman

Insurers rely on Nick for his long-term and communicative approach to handling their insurance coverage questions and claims. 

He advises national insurers on complex third-party liability claims, primarily in commercial general liability and construction defect matters. His understanding of the larger context of a case informs the advice he gives to insurers. 

Nick is experienced in conducting depositions and examinations under oath (EUOs) and briefing and arguing cases before state courts. He recently drafted a winning brief in a case before the North Carolina Supreme Court.
